Passion Sunday Solemn Vespers

March 25, 2018
5:00 p.m.
Church of Saint Mary

Vespers, part of the Liturgy of the Hours, prayed by monastic communities, clergy and lay people daily, includes sung and spoken psalms, hymns and responses, a Scripture reading and meditative choral music, concluding with the Lord’s Prayer and final blessing.  About 40 minutes long, Passion Sunday Vespers complements Passion/Palm Sunday Mass, presenting an opportunity for quiet reflection and prayer, and offering an opportunity to enter more fully into the mysteries of Holy Week.  Afterward, the choir serves a light supper in the Community Room.  All are welcome!

For more information, contact the parish music director at 651.222.2619.
